Complete Telephony over IP (VoIP)

The Ivox network supports a range of IP access methods to connect end users to our soft switch and network. The IP termination device (IP Gateway) can be provided by Ivox, the Service Provider or End User as long as it is SIP compatible.

The End User can use existing PABX, Key Systems or telephone handsets to connect to the various IP Gateways or they can upgrade to full IP equipment. Ivox also offers an IP Centrex / Hosted IP PABX solution to Service Providers.

The outbound calls travel over the End User's ISP provided broadband service and are then connected by our network to the destination number. All call types are carried including local, national, mobile terminating, international and 1800 / 13 / 1300.

As number portability is also a feature of the Ivox service, the End User can either get a new number allocated or port their existing number to their broadband service. All inbound calls are then routed over the Ivox network. With this feature it is possible for both residential and business users to move to an IP only solution.

Ivox Service Providers rate their customers' calls and receive all billing information from Ivox in an electronic format compatible with their own billing engines.
